This iconic farm shop is a perfect destination for any foodies, offering Organic farming with a focus on sustainability, seasonality and artisan skills. Fruit and vegetables are picked each morning from the garden and taken straight to the farm’s shop and award-winning café. Venture further in and you’ll discover a floristry area and clothing store, as well as a magnificent spa. Cookery and Floristry workshops run most weeks, so be sure to check the schedule and book yourself in to learn something new!

The Farm, Stratford-upon-Avon

The Farm is a family run business that showcases local produce and promotes ethical, wholesome and sustainable food. Here you’ll find a collective of artisan food producers, a whole-food café, farm shop, children’s play area and delicatessen. It’s also worth checking out their cookery and creative workshops, nutritional seminars and demonstrations if you are interested in learning some new skills, from foraging courses to baking your own sourdough.

The Blockley Village Shop and Café sits in the heart of one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, and offers excellent coffee, brilliant breakfasts, tasty lunches and some of the best cakes in the area. All the food is freshly cooked using local produce whenever possible. Evening meals are also served on Fridays and Saturdays.

Situated in the pretty village of Ebrington is Vegetable Matters, a friendly farm shop and café selling local and seasonal produce with minimal food miles. Visit this wonderful store for bread, local milk, English flowers and more. They have fantastic brunch and lunch options (the fresh soup and warm cheese scones are delicious!) and you are guaranteed a warm welcome by owners Pete and Amanda. If you’re visiting in summer, be sure to pick your own sunflowers from the hundreds that surround the pretty café so that you can take some sunshine home from your travels.

The Straw Kitchen, Whichford

Outside at the Whicford Pottery centre, this family friendly, rustic café specialises in tasty brunches and lunches that use fresh ingredients. It has a sustainable, local and ethical approach to its menu, which includes fresh soups, salads and colourful nourish bowls, and has both dine in or take away options. There is plenty of outdoor seating and you are also encouraged to bring your own blankets and camp chairs to make the most of their sprawling grass area, making it feel like you’re at a mini festival!
